Le 17 juin, Montréal –Vancouver – Everett – Redmond , WA, USA
Today, we woke up at o’dark thirty, because we need to take the airplane. I think it was at 4h00 o’clock… So our father brought us to the airplane with the bikes and with the baggage. We took the plane at 8h00 and arrived at 10h00 am at Vancouver after 5 hours travelling! (Because of the times zones) Than we took 3 buses, and it was kind of complicated because the buses had a limit of two bikes per bus, and we had 9 bikes and a stroller. I was with Louis-Philippe, mom was with Daniele and Marc-Antoine, Jean-Christophe was with Raphael and Guillaume was with Marie-Pierre and Charles. So, after we took the small train (sky train) and that is where Guillaume, Charles and Marie-Pierre got lost. In reality, they just were at a different train
station (because in the paper it was different than in the map). So the rest of us had to take another train to join them. It was kind of complicated because we took transfer a lot of trains to arrived at the meeting place to store the bikes in Vancouver. After, we find the place to put the bikes. The man who will keep the bikes is Michael Stewart, from Maple Ridge. At the end, it was at least 5h45 and we realised that the last bus that go to Seattle was at 6h30! So we kind of hurry to take the 3 buses and arrived at the station at 5h24, then, we bought the 10 tickets. We were lucky because the bus was late, maybe 50 min. We discovered later that somebody had forgotten a bag in the bus when it was crossing the border. They closed the USA border for more than an hour.
Finally, in the bus, my big brothers played at the DS and I played with the PSP of Louis-Philippe. We arrived at Everett at 11h12 instead of 9h30.And one of our very good friends: Byron was there to pick us. Poor him, he waited all that time. And we went to his house. When we arrived at his house, it was 12h01. So we were tomorrow!!! (It’s not my turn to do diary of tomorrow, but anyway, we ate sandwiches and went straight to bed.
